Restaurant websites & online ordering in Vancouver

Your own menu, your own pickup ordering, your own customers — on a site built for phones and ready to take payments.

Most people look up a restaurant on their phone before they order: they want the menu, the hours, and a way to order in a couple of taps. I build restaurant websites for Vancouver and the Lower Mainland that do exactly that — a clean digital menu, online pickup ordering, and secure card payments in one place. I built this for TAKO Vancouver, a Korean–Mexican restaurant, and the same setup works for cafés, takeout counters, and family restaurants across Surrey, Burnaby and Richmond.

What you get

Online pickup ordering

Customers browse the menu, add to cart, add a tip, and pay — no phone calls, no order taken wrong at the counter during a rush.

Your own ordering page — no per-order commission

Third-party delivery apps take a cut of every order. On your own site you pay your payment processor's transaction fee and nothing else on top from me.

A digital menu that's easy to change

Prices go up, items sell out, specials change. Your menu is set up so items and prices can be updated without a redesign.

Secure card payments

Payments run through Stripe — the same infrastructure large businesses use. Money lands in your bank account, and no card details ever touch your site.

Built for phones first

The majority of restaurant traffic is mobile. The site is designed on a phone screen before anything else, so it loads fast and reads clearly on the way to your door.

Set up to be found locally

Proper page titles, descriptions, and restaurant structured data, plus your address, hours and menu link ready to point at your Google Business Profile.

How it works

01

Quick chat

You tell me your menu, your hours, and whether you want pickup ordering from day one. Free, no pressure.

02

Fixed quote

A simple plan and a fixed price before any work starts — including what the payment processing costs you per order.

03

Build & test orders

I build the site, load your menu, and we run test orders end to end so you see exactly what a customer sees.

04

Launch & support

You go live, and I'm still here for menu changes, new photos, and seasonal specials.

Who this is for

If customers order food from you directly, this setup pays for itself in saved phone time alone.

Takeout and pickup restaurants that live on phone orders
Cafés and bakeries with a menu that changes often
Family restaurants with no site, or one that doesn't work on a phone
Restaurants tired of handing a commission to delivery apps
New restaurants that need to be findable before opening day
Food trucks and pop-ups that need a simple menu and location page

Frequently asked questions

How much does a restaurant website with online ordering cost?

It depends on your menu size and whether you want ordering from day one, but you get a fixed quote upfront — before any work starts — so there are no surprises. Message me with your menu and I'll send a price, usually within a day.

Do I pay a commission on every order?

Not to me. Unlike third-party delivery apps, your ordering page is yours — you pay the standard payment-processing fee per transaction (Stripe's rate) and that's it. No cut of each order, no monthly platform fee to me.

Can customers pay online and leave a tip?

Yes. The checkout handles card payments and a tipping step before the order is confirmed, so your staff isn't handling payment at pickup.

Can I update my own menu and prices?

Yes — the menu is set up so items, prices, and sold-out states can be changed without touching the design. If you'd rather not deal with it at all, send me the changes and I'll handle them.

How long does it take to launch?

A restaurant site with online ordering usually takes a couple of weeks, depending on how fast your menu, photos, and business details are ready. You'll get a timeline with your quote.

Do you work with restaurants outside Vancouver?

Yes. I'm based in Surrey and work with restaurants throughout Greater Vancouver — Burnaby, Richmond, Coquitlam, Delta, Langley and New Westminster — and remotely with restaurants elsewhere in Canada.

Ready to take orders on your own site?

Send me your menu and I'll come back with a fixed quote and a realistic launch date — usually within a day.
